I once heard a quote that said something like, "You are parenting correctly if all of your children think that THEY are your favorite."....haha.....well, I get accused of having favorites. Like when I want to go visit Melanee, and have to miss Andrew's basketball game, yeah, that's when I get told that Melanee is my favorite. Or if I buy something for William. Or if I make Bradley walk home from practice.
But yesterday Andrew said something that made me happy. I didn't let him know I felt anything, but smiled inside and remembered back to that quote.
He said, "......(forgot the topic, haha).....because I am your favorite?"......
No, I don't have favorites, but it would be good if they all felt that they are the favorite!
