Bradley got his braces off today. He only had them for a little over a year, but the orthodontist felt they had done their purpose. He did, though, GLUE Bradley's two front teeth together because he felt the snaggletooth tooth would wig out again (seriously---glue). Bradley must also wear a retainer. The orthodontist says that in as few as 3 days of not wearing the retainer, his crooked teeth and over bite could start coming back. This was Bradley's second time with braces and he even had previous experience with a retainer. Last time, the retainer NEVER made it though the night. He would take it out or it would fall out and we always had to search for it in the morning. Hope he does better this time.
Guess it's now time to start saving for when Andrew needs braces. (They are not cheap.)
I think it would be fun to find a bunch of Bradley teeth pictures through the years and put them side by side, because he had the baby tooth, then the snaggletooth, then no tooth, then braces when he was in 1st/2nd grade, then a big crooked snaggletooth again, then a broken tooth, all the way to braces and now straight teeth).
But here, this first one was taken the first day he got his braces in Nov 2012.
And a pic from today.
No braces, to no braces...a pretty drastic improvement.

And here's a gross close up....I think they look straight and there is no gap or overbite.....but why do they look SMALLER????
